Inspired by her own experiences and desires, Susana's figurative work seeks to capture the emotion of a particular moment and place what she does through an exploration the effects of light on form. The ephemeral images of the women showing their spiritual and emotional moment in life is showing through luminous colours and bright reflective light which are center of Susana's work.
In her childhood, Susana developed a deep appreciation and love for art. Although art remained an important part of her life she decided to focus on a more “practical” career studying Economics and later her second degree in Sciences. Susana worked in the consulting and informatic fields until 2001 when she returned to her first love, painting. Her skills allowed her to become a member of the acclaimed “Cercle Artistic de SantLluc” Barcelona … whose members have included Picasso and Miro... there she work in life drawing and oil painting and began sculpture in clay.
She moved to UK In 2004 and she obtained her BA Hons at Northumbria University in 2010 after which she has pursued her passion for art full-time.
